Scientologists around the world marked the 2026 birthday of L. Ron Hubbard in an event that gathered thousands from dozens of countries. The celebration showcased the presentation of the restored La Estrella landmark site in the Canary Islands, a place of special importance in Scientology history, as well as a new educational initiative designed to make Scientology principles more accessible to children in 25 languages.
The celebration further reflected Scientology’s ongoing focus on linking its history with the next generation. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said that the combination of the Canary Islands landmark and the new children’s materials illustrated how a tradition remains alive when its history is preserved and its values are passed on responsibly. The 2026 celebration therefore Ron Hubbard presented Scientology’s past, present and future as part of one connected narrative.
